MOTOR VEHICLE TAX BILLS

Delinquent tax bills have been reported to the Department of Motor Vehicles, and you will need to pay all tax bills outstanding in the name(s) of the registrant for this flag
to be taken off.

Please allow plenty of time to pay your taxes before you need to register as it could take up to 10 business days for the flag to automatically be removed at DMV.

USPS POSTMARK CHANGES

USPS recently changed their procedures in which your mail may not be postmarked the same day it is mailed.  Being that this office must use a U.S. postmark for interest purposes please make sure if you are mailing your tax bill close to the last day, that you go to the post office to get a hand stamped same day postmark to make sure that the date of mailing is the date on your envelope.
