DUE TO STAFF SHORTAGES THERE WILL BE LIMITED SERVICES AVAILABLE IN THE TAX COLLECTOR’S OFFICE FROM FEBRUARY 24-MARCH 6.  YOU MAY PAY YOUR TAX BILL ONLINE, DROP IT OFF IN THE DROP SLOT BY TAX COLLECTOR’S DOOR OR BY MAIL.  PLEASE PLAN AHEAD IF YOU NEED TO REGISTER A CAR.  ABSOLUTELY NO IMMEDIATE TAKE OFF’S WILL BE ABLE TO BE MADE DURING THAT TIME PERIOD.

Check all account you want to include in your report and then click “VIEW IRS”
You can then print that page out for your records.

ASSESSOR'S REMINDER TO TAXPAYERS

September 24, 2025

The Assessor's Office reminds motor vehicle owners that December 31, 2025, is the last day:

  1.  to receive credit on a tax bill for the 10/1/2023 Grand List, provided proof of disposal and the plate cancellation, if applicable, is provided per CT General Statute 12-71c(b);
  2. for active duty service members to apply for the exemption from property tax of one motor vehicle on the 2024 Grand List.
