BUSINESS OF THE MONTH : CHARHAUSE COOKIE.

November 13, 2024
The Town of Bolton is happy to announce that a new business has opened: CHARHAUSE COOKIE.

Charhause Cookie is a micro bakery that specializes in gluten free pastries such as their famous Macaron cookies.

Everything at Charhause is made from scratch daily with almost everything made in house. For the food not made in house, it is from other small businesses such as Pure Love Bakery located in Avon.

Charhause Cookie is owned by Kate Cofiell, a Tolland County local who has deep roots in the area. Tired of working in the corporate insurance industry, Kate recently decided to pursue her love of baking by opening her own bakery. She looked far and wide for a location, eventually settling on Bolton due to it being close to home and family history. Long ago, in the exact same spot as her bakery, her mother worked when it was still a restaurant!

So, on behalf of the town, we welcome Charhause Cookie to Bolton and encourage everyone to stop by. Charhause Cookie is located right next to Subway and Kreations Salon on Route 44.
