Town Green Renovations

The renovations to the Town Green began today. After going to bid twice for the project it was awarded to the Andrew Ansaldi Company by the Board of Selectmen. The renovations include removal of some of the trees that would not survive the re-grading process. Re-grading to promote drainage. The gazebo will be relocated and a granite sitting wall will be installed in a semi-circular pattern facing the gazebo. The connectivity pathway will be redone as well in a sweeping fluid motion. This project was funded by a grant secured from the State of Connecticut.

September 18, 2024
12:00 pm

Led by Mark Nystrom

The Frozen River explores the world of a midwife in the harsh environment of 1700s Maine. Politics, prejudice, ignorance and integrity all come together to create a fascinating novel. The reader will also gain insight into rudimentary medical practices and documentation, and how they have evolved into the modern practices we know today.
