2025-2026 Budget Process Information

UPDATE FROM THE TAX OFFICE: 

Real Estate tax bills will be in the mail and available to pay online 7-31-25.  These bills are going to be billed using the temporary rate set by the Finance Committee of 31 mills.  They will need to be paid by September 2, 2025, to avoid interest.   Once a budget is approved and the mill rate is set, Motor Vehicle, Supplemental Motor Vehicle, Personal Property and if necessary, a supplemental Real Estate tax bill will be mailed and a due date will be set for them.

Fire Lanes

a)                  Upon finding that the parking of any vehicle in any area would hinder or obstruct the free access of fire-fighting equipment to any structure, the Fire Marshal may designate any portion of any roadway in any street, shopping center or mall or apartment complex as a fire lane.  No person shall permit any vehicle to remain stationary within the limits of any such designated fire lane.


b)                  Any person who violates this provision shall be fined twenty-five dollars ($25.00).
