DUE TO STAFF SHORTAGES THERE WILL BE LIMITED SERVICES AVAILABLE IN THE TAX COLLECTOR’S OFFICE FROM FEBRUARY 24-MARCH 6.  YOU MAY PAY YOUR TAX BILL ONLINE, DROP IT OFF IN THE DROP SLOT BY TAX COLLECTOR’S DOOR OR BY MAIL.  PLEASE PLAN AHEAD IF YOU NEED TO REGISTER A CAR.  ABSOLUTELY NO IMMEDIATE TAKE OFF’S WILL BE ABLE TO BE MADE DURING THAT TIME PERIOD.

Check all account you want to include in your report and then click “VIEW IRS”

Hazardous Waste Disposal

Mid-NEROC Chemical Waste Drop-off facility

Hours: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, the
third Saturday of each month from April Through October.
Location: 57 Hancock Road, Willington, CT.

Cost: There is no charge for household hazardous waste. Businesses will be charged based on the material type and quantity. Businesses, call (860) 965-1910 to make an appointment. 

How to Prepare Materials

  • Pack carefully in original containers only, sealed and labeled.
  • Do not mix materials.
  • Place carefully in car, prevent tipping.
  • Drive carefully. Do not smoke while handling and transporting materials. 

Limitations

  • Up to 10 gallons liquid (1 gallon or less of each material) and 100 pounds dry material.
  • Bring proof of residency.
  • No commercial users
