UPDATE FROM THE TAX OFFICE: 

Real Estate tax bills, based on the temporary rate of 31 mills, were sent out at the beginning of August.  These bills MUST be paid by September 2nd. If not paid by then, interest will added to the account.  Please go to the Tax Collector’s department on the website on how interest is calculated.

If you use your banks bill pay, please be aware that a check is mailed to us without a postmark. If we receive ANY payment after September 2nd without a postmark it will be considered late. Please see payment options under the Tax Collector’s department for other means of paying. Interest cannot be waived per state statute.

Motor Vehicle, Personal Property, and the remaining balance due on Real Estate Accounts will be billed in September to be paid in October. These bills will be based on the recently adopted mill rate of 32.3.

Bentley Memorial Library Board
Regular Meeting September 26, 2023

At a Regular Meeting of the Bentley Memorial Library Board held on September 26, 2023 at 4:00 PM the following actions were taken:

1. Minutes of the Regular Meeting held July 11, 2023: A motion was made by Ms. Goldsnider, seconded by Ms. Silva to approve the minutes as presented. The motion passed unanimously.

2. Display & Issue for Book Policy: A motion was made by Ms. Holliman, seconded by Ms. Silva to accept the draft for display policy and update issue for book policy within Bentley Memorial Library Policies. The motion passed unanimously.

3. Meeting Room Policy: A motion was made by Ms. Neil, seconded by Ms. Goldsnider to update Library Policies to six people maximum limit in meeting room. The motion passed unanimously.
4. Adjournment: A motion was made by Ms. Goldsnider, seconded by Ms. Holliman to adjourn the meeting at 4:45PM. The motion passed unanimously.
