NEWS FROM THE TAX COLLECTOR :

As an update on the town current tax status as of 7-3-25.  The 4th budget referendum will be held at the Parish Center at St Maurice Church on July 15th.   The mill rate will then be determined (whether actual or temporary) on July 16th and taxes will be available to be paid and will be mailed out shortly after that.  Tax bills will need to be paid by September 1st to avoid interest.

Legal Notice

The Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission, at its May 10, 2023 regular meeting, took the following actions:

  1. PZC’s appl. #PL-22-6 to amend the Zoning Regulations re: cannabis:
  2. denied adding Section 10H. to allow retail sales of cannabis in the GB zone by Special Permit;
  3. approved adding Section 5J prohibiting any cannabis establishment, effective 6/01/2023;
  4. approved removal of Sections 17-2 Section 3 ending the temporary moratorium on cannabis establishments effective 6/01/2023.
  5. approved reduction of Site Completion Bond to $10,665.36 ($8,887.80 plus a 20% contingency of $1,777.56) & increased E&S Bond to $35,643.95, 1 Notch Rd, Phillips (#PL-21-1).
