Holiday Hours and Memorial Day Parade:

Bentley Memorial Library will be closed on Saturday, May 23, and all town offices and the library will be closed on Monday, May 25, in honor of Memorial Day. TRASH AND RECYCLING COLLECTION WILL BE DELAYED BY ONE DAY, STARTING MONDAY, MAY 25, 2026.

MEMORIAL DAY PARADE:
The Bolton Memorial Day Parade will step off at 10 am on Monday, May 25th, 2026, from the Center School. In case of rain, the Memorial Day Celebrations will be held at the Bolton Fire Department at 168 Bolton Center Road beginning at 10:30 am.

COFFEE AND CONVERSATION:

Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Bolton Town Hall

The Town of Bolton will host a Coffee and Conversation to discuss the town budget and other topics generated by public discussion.

The next BUDGET REFERENDUM will be held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 12 noon to 8 PM at St. Maurice Parish Center (32 Hebron Rd)

March 13, 2025

The Bolton Planning & Zoning Commission, at its March 12, 2025 regular meeting, unanimously approved:

  1. Updates & amendments to the Subdivision Regulations as presented in appl #PL-25-2 made during the codification process, eff. 4/01/2025.
  2. Zoning Regulation Amendments as presented in appl #PL-25-1 to add Lot Coverage Area; Lot Coverage definition, amend Section 450-3.22 Minor modifications, amend Section 450-3.3 Nonconforming uses to allow limited vertical expansion of existing buildings, & amend Sections 450-8.3 Rural Mixed Use Zone (RMUZ) & 450-9.2 Gateway Mixed Use Industrial Zone (GMUIZ) to remove requirement of multifamily residences on upper floors of commercial uses.
